I heard the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him say: "Islam is built upon five things: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayers, paying Zakat, Hajj and fasting Ramadan [1] [2]

Faith (testifying that no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)

Faith is the first of Staff and most importantly, it is key that enters a person to the circle of Islam. شرح الاركان الخمسة

سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، والحج، وصوم رمضان[1] [2]

الشهادتان (شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمداً رسول الله)

الشهادتان هي أول الأركان وأهمها، فهي المفتاح الذي يدخل به الإنسان إلى دائرة الإسلام. فأما الطرف الأول منها " لا إله إلا الله " فمعناه أن ينطق الإنسان بلسانه ويقر في نفس الوقت بقلبه بأنه لايوجد إله إلا الله وعليه يتوكل المسلم، وتقتضي الشهادة أيضاً أن يؤمن الإنسان أن لا خالق لهذا الكون إلا الله وحده دون شريك ولا إله ثانٍ ولا ثالث يُعبد معه.
أما شهادة أن محمداً رسول الله، فتعني أن تؤمن بأن النبي محمد مبعوث رحمة للعالمين، بشيراً ونذيراً إلى الخلق كافة، وتؤمن بأن شريعته ناسخة لما سبقها من الشرائع. ذكر القرآن " وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ" (آل عمران 85)
وتقتضي أيضاً أن يأخذ الإنسان من تعاليم النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ما أمر به أن يؤخذ ويمتنع عمّا نهى عنه.
ومن الملاحظ أنه في كون الشهادتين ركناً واحداً إشارة واضحة إلى أن العبادة لا تتم إلا في أمرين هما: إخلاص العبادة لله وحده واتباع منهج الرسول في هذه العبادة وعدم الخروج عما سنه الرسول للأمة.
[عدل]الصلاة (إقامة الصلاة)

والصلاة تعتبر هي الصلة بين العبد وربه، ولها مكانة عظيمة في الإسلام. ويعتبر الإسلام الصلاة هي أول ما يحاسب عليه الإنسان يوم القيامة، فإن صلحت صلح سائر عمله وإن فسدت فسد سائر عمله. وكذلك فإنها العلامة الفارقة بين المسلم والكافر، يدل على ذلك ما جاء في حديث جابر، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إن بين الرجل وبين الشرك والكفر ترك الصلاة" (رواه مسلم)
والمسلم فرضت عليه خمس صلوات يومية (الفجر والظهر والعصر والمغرب والعشاء) وغيرها تطوعية. ويجب على كل مسلم أن يؤدي صلاته في وقتها المحدد لها وعلى الهيئة التي علمها لنا الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.
[عدل]الزكاة (إيتاء الزكاة)

وإيتاء الزكاة هو عبادة مالية فرضها الله على عباده، طهرة لنفوسهم من البخل، ولصحائفهم من الخطايا، وقد ذكر القرآن في كتابه: "خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها" (التوبة : 103).
وقد فرض الله على المسلمين زكاتين، زكاة الفطر وهي التي تؤدى بعد شهر رمضان، وزكاة المال وهي نسبة 2.5% من المال المدخر سنوياً والذي حال عليه الحول (أي أنه حال على المال سنة كاملة بدون أن يتغير مقداره).
وتُدفع الزكاة للفقراء المحتاجين ويسقط هذا الفرض عن الناس المعدمين الذين لايملكون شيئاً. ولم يترك الإسلام للمسلم حرية التصرف في هذا المبلغ المستقطع بل حدّده في مسالك ثمانية يمكن للمسلم أن يختار أحدها لانفاق الزكاة.
[عدل]الصوم (صوم رمضان)

أما الصيام فهو صيام شهر رمضان. ويعتبر رمضان موسماً عظيماً تكثر فيه الطاعات وهو شهر مبارك تتنزل فيه الرحمة ويجدد فيه العبد عهده مع الله، ويتقرب اليه بالطاعات. ولصيام رمضان فضائل عدّة، فقد تكفل الله لمن صامه إيمانا واحتسابا بغفران ما مضى من ذنوبه وغيرها من الفضائل والاجر لمن صامه ايماناً بالله واحتساباً للأجر.
والمسلم يصوم عن الطعام والشراب ويمتنع عن اللغو والنميمة والمعاشرة الزوجية وكل عمل سيء من شروق الشمس (أي من صلاة الفجر) إلى غروبها (صلاة المغرب). ويقضي طوال يومه في عبادة وذكر وتلاوة للقرآن ودروس علم تعطيه زاداً إيمانياً يكفيه بقية العام.
ويسقط هذا الفرض عمن لايقوى على صومه كمرض ألمّ به يُلزمه بتناول الدّواء أو كمريض قرحة المعدة الذي لا يقوى على المعدة الفارغة من الأكل والشرب.
[عدل]الحج (حج البيت لمن استطاع إليه سبيلا)

الحج هو زيارة المسجد الحرام في مكة المكرمة وأداء فريضة الحج. فرض الله هذا الفرض على كل مسلم بالغ، قادر على تحمّل تكاليف الحج. في القرآن: {ولله على الناس حج البيت من استطاع إليه سبيلا}[3] وقد فرضه الله الحج لتزكية النفوس، وتربية لها على معاني العبودية والطاعة والصبر، فضلاً على أنه فرصة عظيمة لتكفير الذنوب، فقد جاء في الحديث : "من حج هذا البيت فلم يرفث ولم يفسق، رجع كيوم ولدته أمه " (رواه البخاري ومسلم)
